The Football Manager 2012 PC and Full is available to
download now from Steam, Sega has announced.
You can play the first half of the 2011/2012 season and
carry on your career when the game launches later this month.
The demo includes QuickStart leagues England, Scotland,
France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia.
The demo is only available on Steam. As revealed last month,
to play Football Manager 2012, you need to authenticate through Valve’s digital
service.
Indeed any version of Football Manager 2012 bought on disc
has to be activated through Steam.
Gamers have to have an internet connection for initial
activation – a one-time only activation which requires you sign up for a Steam
account and install the Steam client.
Once done, the game can be played offline by turning on
Steam’s Offline mode.
